Best Way To Clean Mitter Cloth

I had a hydraulic motor leak oil on some of my mitter cloth. Just trying to get an idea of how other operators typically clean their cloth.......

Equipment/wall cleaner should do the trick. We had the same problem last month. Stepped up from Simple Green, wheel cleaner then finally the wall cleaner. Complicating this was that we use reclaim to wet the foam and cloth. We hadn't kept up with regular buildup removal so it took a couple of passes at full strength to remove everything loosened up by previous passes.

Thanks for the reply guys. We took both of your recommendations and used wall cleaner and soap to clean the cloth! Came out looking MUCH cleaner.....

We put it in a the soap dispenser on our portable pressure washer and spray it on the cloth on the low pressure setting. Soak the cloth and then run the wash and rinse. Repeat until cleaned.

Once you get it clean you need to make cleaning mitters part of your weekly routine. They last longer and work better when kept clean.

I have had situations where I cut the top of a 55 Gallon Drum, removed the cloth and let it soak a few hours in a mix of Dawn and / or tunnel cleaner and then thru it in the washer with more of the same.
