Best ss booms

Who do you feel has the best ss booms and why. I’m looking to replace mine as they are old and do not return to the home position. People are reversing out of the bays and catching them a lot and breaking the lances/wands. Anyone have the mosmatic double booms?

I would like to know the answer to this also but can you repair yours? The double booms to me appear that a customer can't go 360 on the upper boom. Two Z booms separated from each other might be the better option but I would like to hear other opinions on this as we are going to do a major remodel on our self serve.

The double booms are a PITA for customers because they have to pass the hoses around each other, which they too often leave tangled instead.

Are your booms stiff to move? If they turn freely you can just shim them so they return where you need them.

While we are talking about booms I noticed that the Mosmatic booms do not have a spring on them like the other brands do. Are there issues with people hanging on the hoses and bending these booms?

I've had the mosmatic booms since '04 without any major issues. In regards to bending booms, it will never happen. However, I would be concerned about them breaking whatever the booms are mounted to. Mine are mounted to wood trusses and there had been some damage to the bottom of a couple of trusses over the years.
My other locations have Zierden Z booms and I love them. They are certainly very easy to service. My only complaint is that the coating on the ceiling assembly doesn't hold up. Mine have a patina that I wouldn't quite call rust but they do look shabby. Maybe I'll hit them with a coat of ninc spray paint this fall
