Best Replacement for Laser 4000

Not that I'm quite ready yet but currently looking for real world experiences on the best replacement for a Laser 4000. I'm interested in an open and honest dialog about experiences with the various manufacturers and some of the models that would be considered as a good fit/replacement for the 4000. I'm in Canada-Ontario specifically so I'm also interested in the same type of discussion about the various companies available to install said wash type. At this point I'm thinking the service after the sale will be just as or more important then the model that is chosen! Thanks in advance. Kevin

Washworld has an upgrade kit to use whats still good from your 4000 to a High Velocity relatively affordable. We have 3 washes near me that went that route.

Well if you are intent on staying with touchless, those are good choices. You should at least consider a friction unit. Look at the Istobal machines. Yes, the ones I sell. You will get cleaner cars at a less expensive operating cost. We have one guy who had a four bay PDQ laser wash (4 machines). He replaced them all witht he Istobal. Revenue went up dramatically and operating cost went down.

What are you trying to accomplish?

For example, 4000 has been discontinued for over a decade and the technology is obsolete. So, if the machine is still functional why do you want to replace it?

For example, are you looking to wash more cars per hour, generate higher average per car revenue, lower operating expenses, increase quality, increase up time or some other reason?

Isn't Belanger support pretty good in Canada? You should check support in your area. I believe one of Belanger's Canadian techs flew down one time to fix one of our Vectors.
