Belanger Rapid Wash Butterfly Issue

Hello,

So I have an older Belanger Vector Rapid Wash. I try to do all the repairs on it myself, but have found an issue I can't seem to solve.

Randomly I have the trolley go to the front of the vehicle. Butterflies go around to the front of the vehicle, but then they never open back up. Trolley then starts to drive to the back of the vehicle with the butterflies still out front at the grill. It does not do it for every wash. Only here and there and at random. If I use the jog and homing functions I can move the butterflies around all day, and tell them to go home and they always find it. Also again i might wash 2 cars fine or 20 cars fine. Then all of the sudden one time they stay out front.

Any ideas appreciated. Thank you.

Have you tried changing out your butterfly breakaway sensor? When those go out funny things start to happen. We have a Kondor which is pretty much just a newer model of yours. Also when your main cable from the your carwash room that goes out to your carriage block has problems you start to have really weird issues happen as well.

I can second this, something changed in the last couple of years. They used to make you go talk to your local distributor but now you can call them up and they will try their best to help you over the phone.
