Attempted to break in bay safes

I live in NC hillsborough and someone tried to break into two bay safes lastnight and messed up one spindle on a star safe where they attempted what is something you guys do to deterrent the crooks on this problem used to have stainless covers and everyone knows they will rip that off and makes them work harder any ideas??? Besides cameras

What you could do is put a stainless steel cover over the vault head, alarmed with a sacrificial lock on the cover. When the scumbags remove the stainless steel cover the alarm will go off. Is that the Southern Pride car wash on Hwy 86, by the Maxway shopping center?
