attempted lock drilling

My son called me today and said someone attempted to drill the lock on our Surevend machine with a Medeco lock in a twist handle. He cannot get the lock open now. Can someone PM me a way to get the lock open? Don't post it here for obvious reasons. I'm on vacation and he is watching things back home. It always happens when you are gone, right? Please give me some ideas to pass on to him.

I will have to get my son to call Surevend Monday to order a new lock before we get it open, otherwise we won't be able to close it. The Medeco lock is integrated into the T-handle.
