Brings to mind the most dangerous phrase in the English launguage... "I'm from the government and I'm here help you."

Funny how you never see the environmentalists target the restaurant industry or hotel industry who use far more ater than the car wash insdutry ever could hope to. Far easier to go curtial individual rights than attack water problems across the board and across industries.

Isn't this how the Soviet Union got started? <joke>

The article is about environmental concerns about runoff from driveway washing running into storm drains, not about water use.

Article Date?

When did this article print?

Also, can anyone comment on the EPA Phase 2 Storm Water Management Plan that all municipalities were supposed to adopt to eliminate preventable (charity and driveway car wash) run-off?

Thanks!
