I just did the same last week. I had them back to the early 90s.
Yeah, I hate to chunk them. They are an incredible wealth of knowledge for a new owner. And when I enjoyed reading, I loved JJ's informal, conversational writing style. But in the end the internet (especially this forum) has kept me up with most of what the cool kids are doing now. And I'm attempting to move into a house 1/3rd the size of the one I live in now, so hard decisions are being made for me, the car wash hoarder.
