There is a powdered solution called barkeepers friend. I buy it at walmart but its available in many places. Just pour some on the aluminum let it sit, agitate with a brush, and it shines like nothing I've ever seen. We use it on the bases of our equipment where most of the dirt gathers. We have never found anything that comes close to the shine or the effortless work to get it clean. Give it a shot you'll love it!
