Air shammee Dryer install

Currently in the process of running pipe to 3 SS bays for future Air Shammee. I need to eliminate a product for the rotary switch without upgrading all switches. Currently have a 10 position switch. Would you get rid of tire cleaner or engine cleaner in order to add the air dryer. Thanks for any suggestions. New to the game - just purchased 2 locations, 3 SS bays and 2 IBAs at each location. Loving the adventure so far.

Usually tire cleaner and engine cleaner are the same product. You might even find a jumper wire used for both to use the same product. You should get new meter box decals that say tire/engine cleaner as a selection. That way you can keep both of them and add air dryer.

What pipe are you running? If you are planning on mounting them in back room I would definitely attic mount them so you dont have to listen to the noise of them running.

Ran pipe for a wall mount in each bay. Currently have an engine cleaner and a tire cleaner. Both are seperate products. Chem supplier said the current Tire cleaner product may be too potent to be used for engine cleaning. However, I like the tire cleaner product better. I have to get rid of one .

You mean conduit? for electrical?

If you like the tire product just use that for engine too. It's not going to hurt anything. Like I said most SS use tire cleaner for tire and engine,

Also if you could attic mount instead of wall mount do that., Less exposure to the car wash environment and less noise for customers.

If you like the tire product just use that. No body washes there engine then checks it when they get home.
Yes, conduit , 1/2 pvc schedule 40 pipe
-added a sub panel in the mechanical room, ran 1/2 pipe to each bay. I’m Going to wall mount the air shammee then tie into the rotary switch box to attain the 24 vac

That was an easy one for me, I don't like seeing hoods open at my washes because it leads to other problems, one of which is a no-start-vehicle that blocks a bay for an hour or more at minimum.
Then you get the squids that "tinker" after they wash the motor. They start pulling radiator hoses or spark plugs after the wash because "they didn't want to get their hands dirty."
Nope, I don't want to see open hoods at my place.
Engine Cleaner? Delete
