air in rinse tank

It usually means that air from a low-pressure system is backing up all the way from the bay, through the high-pressure line, through the pump and then into the tank. If there is a check valve inline on the pump supply, it needs to be replaced, but it also indicates a problem with the pump or its regulator. It should be able to keep air from flowing back and into the tank.
