After all these years of trying not to order the vac motors with the brushes that you cant hardly change out because you tear up the wire connector that is inserted in the top of the brush.
Well today I had two motors that were good but needed brushes I made up my mind that because they made replacement brushes there has to be a way to remove the connector with out breaking the small wire from the connector.
After breaking one I had one left and then it hit me how to remove it.
every one probably already knows this, but all you have to do is take pliers and squeeze the top down to bend the little tab on the connector and it will slide right out.
Oh to be so hard headed for so long!

Yeah it humbles me when I figure out an easy way of doing something after I have struggled with it for years. However, I damaged just one wire before figuring out a better way. I just use a pair of side cutters and cut off the top off the plastic brush casing. Don't need to be too particular, just cut, pull out and toss. Takes 3 seconds at the most and I have yet to damage another wire or post.
