ACW 4 Scrolling Issue

Hello,

I have an ACW that was scrolling a message this morning that said "card or coin payment". It normally scrolls "Welcome, Deposit Money or Select Wash". I have the Cryptopay retrofit. Any idea why this would happen? I power cycled it and a a dollar came out of the bill acceptor.

Yes, your validator had a bill jam. The acw then switched to an alternate payment method. You can program it to either switch to alternate payment method or go out of service. If you have it set to use alternate payment method and you have the out of service relay hooked up it will not notify you. It's a catch 22...either have a big problem and know about it or have a smaller problem and be unaware of it.
