I received this today, for those of you that don't know Jimmy was the President of the ICA a few years back.
Hi Guys, it's Allan Branch, Jimmy's son. My Dad doesn't know I'm emailing you, I got your email from his email account that I have access to. I wanted to let everyone know what is going on with my family.
I am sure my Dad has informed you about John's battle with lyme disease this year. My little brother has taken a turn for the worst and is in a comatose state. When I say "comatose" imagine John in a coma, laying in bed with a feeding tube down his nose. While John is insured his treatments have left my parents $100,000 in medical bills. The doctors in the south are ignorant about lyme disease. So my Dad is trying to get John airlifted via medaircraft to New York for further treatment, this is also uncovered by the insurance company and costs $10,000. We're hopeful there is a solution with better more experienced doctors in north east.
My brothers and sisters have setup a medical fund for my parents without them knowing. Yesterday we raised $8,800 from our friends. I know times are tough so if you're unable to give please email my Dad and wish him well or call him, my parents need and outpouring of love. As you know my parents are beyond the word amazing but the stress of this is going to kill them. It's been sad to see them struggle with the helplessness of this battle. They're amazing parents who give and ask nothing in return, so I'm compelled to ask for them.
