2014 GM large body automatic folding mirrors

Anyone else running into a problem with these? I have have two (one a high end truck and one a yukon) go through my autec and then get claimed the mirrors were damaged. Looks like they can't stand to have any pressure put on them or strip the gears. Anyone else seeing this or have thoughts on it? Thanks
 
Actually our problem started around the turn of the century, Ford decided to make the king cab and extra cab trucks longer and the mirrors wider and our fixed rail IBA really liked to devour the passenger mirror. We ended up putting up signage in 2 spots stating to pull in wide mirrors. Since posting signage we have not paid for any mirrors that should have been folded in.
