2012 Ford Escape front bumper decorative cover detaching in dryers

Just checking to see if anyone else has experienced issues with 2012 Ford Escape's decorative front bumper/decorative chrome looking plastic cover coming detached while going through the dryers. In the last 3 weeks, I have had two come loose and fold under the car and drag on the ground completely destroying the piece. I had a third one go through and 3 of the 5 top tabs that lock this cover piece into the grill popped out while going through my dryers. I can't find any information on any active recalls from Ford on this issue. Ford stated during a phone call that they are not aware of any problems. The ICA has not heard of any similar issues either.

Just checking to see if anyone else has experienced this?

We also had a 2010 Ford Escape recently get damaged at our wash. We were perplexed at what had happened. This certainly sheds some light on the issue. Are you covering the cost of the damage?

The first time it happened the driver stated that her husband had to pop the mounting tabs back in once before and they were in the process of trying to get it into the local Ford Dealer to have it looked at. The second driver stated that the car had been backed into at one time and they had replaced some of front bumper parts. So, based on the prior history I refused to cover the damage. The third driver had no damage since I caught it as it was exiting the wash and no damage had occurred at that point. The driver said he had no prior issues with the front end.
