We drill weep holes in all boxes including the aluminum boxes on the wash. The real question is, where is the water coming from. On every occasion it is always associated with a leaky HP swivel or fitting.
The key with memberships is if you are going to do it, you need to be all in. 100-200 members isn't worth the trouble and is why you won't see any advantages to it. Once your numbers start building, the members that take advantage of the unlimited washes will be easier to digest. On our express...
We install our single motor units in the equipment room and run 2" PVC out to the bays. The difference in the pressure from the unit closest to the room or 5 bays away is not noticeable enough to do it any other way.
I would do it ASAP. We are beginning to convert our sites to Monex. All of our sites are on CryptoPay for the exception of 4 sites that we have converted. This is what we have seen as a blended average so far in the last 9 months on Monex.

I pay more than that for 5 gallons, but I am not concerned with the cost of the 5 gallons versus what my cost per minute is.
Do you know what your cost per minute is?
What size of town is it? Our best wash is in a town of 6500 people. You also need to look at the surrounding area and determine if the town you are in draws people from other areas to come in and pick up essentials. They can also be prospective customers. This site we have generates over $35k on...
Some good advice right here. One site we added an in bay to was $33k just to increase the electrical service to the wash. On top of construction cost to increase the length and height of the bay.
What are the dimensions of the auto bay? If it isn't the correct size, expect to spend 30k-50K+ to get it to the right size. A lot of old locations are to narrow and short for modern in bays.
If it is only happening in the rear, I would lean more towards an issue with signal wires on the festoon cable.
Is your straight swivel above the arch gear box leaking?
The area you live in will make a huge impact on if a touch free will clean well or not. In our area, to get a decent looking vehicle in our touch free is a lot more expensive compared to our friction sites. We had 4 different reps come in saying they could get the job done and went home with...
If done right, the increase in revenue from the IBA will easily offset any loss in SS business. We have done this many times. You will have to extend the length of your bay, and possibly the width and height as well. Be sure you check on the electrical load coming into the building as it...
Glad you were able to get the issue resolved. I am really surprised you didn't fry any other components out by using the larger fuse. You should invest in an amp probe for future troubleshooting issues.
Our area is 50/50 at most locations and a couple are only 30% CC. We are a high cash using community. We tried to go cashless at a couple sites and we lost 50% of our sales for 60 days. Decided to turn the coin acceptors back on and our business increased, our CC numbers went up and we recouped...
As mentioned, if the inside frame is stainless then rebuild and only replace the items outside that customers can see. If your equipment inside is in bad shape and you want something that is at a good price point, then you should look at the Ginsan direct drive. I was skeptical at first and many...
