    Adjusted Sewer Rates

On that website which one would you choose? Also, I'm trying to find someone who has done it. In a P Trap would it be mounted at the bottom of the U or at a 45 degree angle off of the U? I've also been researching these. Let me know what you think. https://pulsarmeasurement.com/en/avfm-6-1

    Adjusted Sewer Rates

Hoping to see if someone has successfully installed a sewer meter? I've talked to sales reps and "ultrasonic meters" wouldn't work on our sewer lines because they are gravity fed and aren't completely filled lines (there's air in the lines). Can anyone send me a link of what has worked for them...

    Equipment Room Dream

Thank you for your input. I do have the other walls drawn I just didn't include them. They include floor heat, toilets, bill changers, desks, etc. But this wall is mainly all the equipment stuff. A wall standoff is a good thing to mention to the architect. I do like being able to walk behind...

    Equipment Room Dream

Yeah it's not super cold here. I have open truss washes like this already in the area and haven't had any issues. Our coldest day of the year might only be 5 to 10 degrees. There is a trough and it opens from the top and will be insulated like my other washes. I'm not following why I wouldn't...

    Equipment Room Dream

Trust me, I'm not a huge fan of the layout either. But I have another wash nearby and wish I had more bays. On busy days people won’t wait in line and drive off. My hope is that these pull in back out bays work as overflow bays at peak times. The reason for the uncovered bay is to allow more...

    Equipment Room Dream

Call me crazy but I am building an 8 bay self serve wash. It has gotten to the point with the architect that we need to involve the plumbers and design the inside of the equipment room. The city requires everything be drawn up before the building can be approved. Below is my 1st draft so...

RV - Truck bay addition to SS wash

Where did you get those booms for your gun and brush? How do you like them? Trying to figure out what options are out there and what’s best for semi/rv’s. Thanks

    Truck bay boom system

Did you end up making something? I’m building a wash that will have truck bays and I’m trying to figure out how to do the guns/foamy bushes.

I built an app in 5 minutes to stay organized-What Tools Are You Using?

I use google sheets with my employees. They do a daily write up of what they did and it ends up in my email as well as always being saved in google sheets. Updates to my phone automatically and is free. I also do project lists on there so employees can check them off as they have time to get to...

    Floor heat question

I'll also add that if it's a super old wash sometimes they used PVC to supply the manifolds. I had a leak at my wash and decided it was probably in the PVC sections underground and not in the actual "floor heat" loops. I used the old PVC lines basically as a conduit and put pex inside the PVC...

    Floor heat question

I use these for constant pressure, if it's only a tiny leak and you use glycol I'd go this route but it sounds like your leak is bigger... https://www.supplyhouse.com/Axiom-DMF150-DMF150-Digital-PRESSURE-PAL-Hydronic-Mini-System-Feeder-4-6-Gallon

    Vac motors - 120 or 220v

If existing power isn't an issue, what is your preferred motor? I'm getting new vacuums and have always tended to try and get higher voltage items. For example I have the 220 v air dryers instead of 120v. What is the reasoning behind the preference towards 220 over 120 for a lot of people?

American Changer - The new "green stripe" hopper

Do you know if you can bypass the sensor on the green stripe ones? Both my new ones that didn’t last long give the hopper low error.

American Changer - The new "green stripe" hopper

Has anyone had any issues with the new green stripe hoppers? I've gone through 3 of them now for basically the same issues. Optoblock errors and hopper low errors (when it's full). Yes, I've cleaned the plates and checked the eye but the error happens almost daily until changed out for a new...
