Unlimited Pass - Why are they offered?

the reason they had only 2-300 members is bc they do a poor job of promoting membership to all their customers. Of course the ones that wash often will immediately see the value in a subscription model of 1 price per month. membership works, but it isn’t a magic pill. You have to sell it...

    Everwash / Subscription Services

some of my customers come in 15+ times a month while 20% of my customers come in zero times in any given 30 day period. We aren’t talking about the fringe or outliers. The average usage of membership customers is basically 3x a month. The less members you have in your club, the usage will be...

    Everwash / Subscription Services

first, abuse is almost negligible. But in the case it isnt or if you dont believe that its really small, how does LPR monitor when my customers change plates from their car to their wives car? Or how does RFID monitor when a sticker is peeled out of 1 car and used in the second household car...

    Everwash / Subscription Services

if membership works in a tunnel, it will work in a self serve. The obvious issue is how to sell it to customers since self serve bays are rarely staffed. It will provide a bigger and more consistent revenue stream for car wash owners during bad weather days. It will also increase volume which...

Unlimited Pass - Why are they offered?

Jan You are under the assumption that the single wash user comes as frequently as the member. This isn't the case. The average single paying cutomer washes less than 4 times per year. If your wash is $10 a visit, each customer is only worth $40 per year to you. Take the average member at $20...

    Little Trees going up

I raised my self serve vending machines to $1.25 for little trees over the summer and no one blinked. Should have went straight to $1.50. Now I'll keep them at $1.25 as to not seem like a pig. Kept the price at $1.00 for my tunnel customers as to avoid giving .75 cents change. only 1 person...

    Last 6 months business

SE Pennsylvania. tremendous amount of bad weather over the last 4 months. Worst stretch in 15 years at least. Our self serve is up 10% year over year, our Exterior tunnel on the same site is up more than that. Car counts are higher, as is revenue. Unlimited car washing takes bad weather out of...

    Unlimited washing for self serve?

Limit the usage to say 10-15 minutes a day for one wash only meaning once they start your bay they can’t save 6 minutes for later in the same day. Sure they can wash 10 different cars per 10 days but they’ll need the phone the app was downloaded on and if you have cameras at your facility, every...

    Unlimited washing for self serve?

It’ll cost 0 to set up in your self serve if you already have cryptopay. Otherwise it’ll cost you whatever crytpopay costs. You’ll need a few new bay signs. Everwash does take a cut of membership fees for running the club.

    Unlimited washing for self serve?

Yes, they can easily run a monthly self serve club with cryptopay swipers. Are you currently doing self serve or just tunnel with them?

    Unlimited washing for self serve?

Bought my meter box doors from Carolina pride with swipers included. I do not use cryptopay or any other secondary cc swipes like washcard or nayak. Regular processing.

    Unlimited washing for self serve?

I have not done this yet for a variety of reasons but still very interested in this idea. My self serve does accept credit card which is built in to my meter box doors. Looking forward to your ideas, thanks.

    In wall vending machine

MEP, I talked to cryptpay about certain older machines. They don't work with everything that takes coin pulses. But call them if/before you buy an older used model to make sure they are compatible.

    In wall vending machine

Philly gets cold but not under 0 degrees often. and these are exposed to all weather. I’ve never had a problem with cold or heat and they’ve been installed for over 15 years. The back of the machines do get heat though in the mechanical room. For $300 each i would try this option first as each...

Drilling in concrete floor and floor heat tubes and infrared cameras

Call Chris at Car Wash Boilers(google, I don’t have the number handy) and he can tell you exactly what to use and where to get one. I think they are out of Ohio. We thought we had a leak years ago and he suggested using the infrared camera.

    STA Graphics

I used Ahearn years ago off a recco from my local Armor All rep for self serve in bay signs. Armor All was giving them a ton of business but may have brought signage in house now. Ahearn was great to work with and they did nice work at decent prices. Alice Ahearn was my contact. I designed and...
