Their are 6 black screws on each side of the hopper and 2 black screws on the back of the hopper - take them out. Then push the part with the triangle latch forward, so the latch is out of the groove and with a screwdriver separate the hopper's wall to get the latch out and remove the chain...
This is a business decision which is based on R.O.I
Texas is known to have cheap land and as a result, there are too many ss car washes per capita to be able to get real good return on your investment (one of your projection should be future competition)
There is a third option- don't get into...

If you had to replenish your tokens, it means that your customers spent real money for tokens which some of them will "walk off"
You look at it, as if you made money on this exchange but your customers think (correctly) that they lost real money at your car wash, since they spent X...

To have tokens "walk off" means that: 1) you made money on the tokens and
2) your customers lost real money to buy tokens that they can not use elsewhere.
For me it is an easy decision, unless you are in a high crime location ( which forces you to use tokens), do what is good for your...

See if you can pull out your original invoices for the vacs. and then depreciate them over the number of years you own them.
Here in So. CA. you pay a percentage of the depreciated value each year.
If all else fails, you may have to hire an attorney, to show them that you are serious.
Hi all
Does anybody has a source for a brush (like a bawl brush) to clean vacuum filter bags?
It has to be large enough to fit in the bag (about 5" in diameter) all the way around.
I could not find it in any of the hardware stores.
Thanks, Reuven
We had the same problem a few months ago and returned them to Erie for an exchange. It is not any of the reasons given before, it was just a bad batch.

As a customer your sing seems confusing to me.
We put the price/time on the face plate ($21/2 - 4 min.) and underneath the face plate, we have a 10" x 6" sign that itemize increases of increments of .50 cents - time (in blue letters) and $5.00 -10 min. with 2 minutes free time (in red...
I would not reduce the cycle time to 3 min. - it is too short and customers will notice that.
I would not reduce any quality period.
It is always easier to keep customers happy than to get new ones, especially in hard time.
If both your hoppers have quarters in them and one is considerably lower than the other, you probably have a jam in there but pay attention to the speed or lack of, for the quarters to climb up the chain and if you see that one or both hoppers take too much time to refill the "buckets" than you...
If you experience stringing on an ongoing basis, than you are correct to use tokens. We have had that problem with the Row changers, replaced them with Mars validators- problem is gone.
I don't say not to use tokens at all, just give your customers the option, to receive real money from the changer if they prefer it. You can have a specific changer for tokens only.
If you think what your customers want and not what makes your life easier, you will dispense quarters and dollar coins combination, for any bill larger than a single.
Customers walk away with unused tokens and forget to bring them the next time - this is not what customers want. besides, it is...
Try to press on the "reset" button and if it does not help, try to program the changer fro the beginning. If this does not help then send your computer board for repair.
The first CC system for "Mag Card" was developed by Paul Brookover.
I was the first one in So. CA. to install it and was very happy with the equipment and the service.
Than Paul sold the company to Zack and the service was terrible. I had to make several 'phone calls to get any of them returned...
I have noticed that when the price of gas was $4.50/gallon in So. CA., (2008) people washed more but traveled less, so I think that since people want to keep their cars clean, they will have this pattern going until the price of gas will prohibit both Albeit unemployment was less than today.
