I had great success with hand held dryers. They sometimes spend the same or more on drying as they do washing. If you put new meter boxes with cc. and bill acceptor, and put in hand held dryers, you won't be disappointed

For a self serve wash I recommend the 2 inch only, customers seem too lazy to throw trash in trash can and just try to vacuum up all the trash and a 1.5 inch hose will plug up often so will the tapered hose as I tried them.

$1.00 @ 2.1/2minutes works great, some make comments that the competition is too high at :cool: 6 minutes @ 2.00, yet most customers buy two cycles, go figure.:)

Yellow micro fiber towels from Cosco we sell them for $1.75 fold and put in a sandwich zip lock bag, also do the same with the white terry towels, my wife can't fold them fast enough!! also armor all tire foam 4oz cans

We were a U-Haul dealer for three months it was a lot of work for very little money. The busy time for U-Haul is the same for the car wash Sat-Sun. You do not need U-Haul, just my 2cents.

I have been using Turtle Wax products for many years. I am pleased how clean and shiny the cars come out and the product is very consistent. I use Turtle Wax in both my tunnel and my self-serves.

I have 6 survends, very happy wihe them. Sales of vending products are high, I belive do to the customer being able to see the products. Service after the sale has always been great. Service after the sale is important to me more than price alone.

I have used IVS vacuums for years with the lamb quiet motors, and they came with the dome lined with foam. This came with a extra charge though. They are very quiet.
