Not sure what razor uses for energy chain but all igus e chains snap open. You just use a small flathead to get them open. I can't imagine your energy chain can't be opened. If you know the dimensions of your old hose you can use a coupling to connect the new hose to the old one then pull the...
You're right and I completely forgot until you mentioned. I should have went into more detail. The drive forward light I hooked it up to was an entrance drive forward light not a in bay one. It was easier for me than to wire four relays for the vends. You may have to do that if you dont have...
Ive done this for a few people. One wash I used the entrance door open/close outputs to send signal and control the gate. Another wash I used the drive forward and stop light outputs to control the gate.
Also forgot to mention since your doing a touchless the penetration from your overhead spray bar will be much weaker being it’s almost 2 ft higher. So you also sacrifice wash quality. How significant it is you would have to go through one to find out.
If your two auto bays are identical size and you're running enough cars to justify a second machine I would go standard height. Who ever pulls in goes to the one with the fewer cars in line. It does not matter. If one machine is down just tap the button on your phone to shut the power to your...
Your customers will use your standard height more. They will get a better dry being that the dryers won't be 10ft off the ground to accommodate for the machine clearance height. Something to think about.
I know the exact wash you're talking about. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! That place is so f***ed up. If you want to get into detail on everything thats wrong with that place you can PM me your number and we can talk because it's way too much for me to type out.
Im in MI. I sent you a PM with my info. Im a car wash chain owner, distributor, and installer. I can help you out with the building process. I dont mind.
I will help you if you want. I will admit I dont have much of an online presence for my businesses. I do however own multiple locations including tunnels, self serves, and IBA's frictions and touchless.
Check if you have air going to your bays. If your air solenoid is not opening then yes you will put out just liquid. Air is what makes it foam, not the chemical no matter how strong you run it.
Up here for all my bays the drainage pipe for the self serve wands is a 4" coupling cemented flush with the ground going to the pit then they glue a 4" two foot pvc section in above ground to hold the wands. They should never glue those sticks cause when a mirror catches the hose the car will...
PVC will be fine. There’s absolutely no problem with it coming apart but I would not use hard pipe for two reasons.
1. Hard pipe to that vacuum swivel will most likely cause your pipe to crack if the boom swivel does not operate perfectly ever time which it wont. The swivel will bind up and the...
Gotcha. Not sure about JBS as I never used them but I certainly would not take chemical advice from kleen rite. There website claims there HPD ultra concentrate should be a 2000:1 ratio for SS and IBA. What a joke. There isn’t even a hydrominder tip that small. They fall under the category of...
If you can't be there and watch it then put a camera in the bay and a camera on the PLC. Once again you dont need to get a fault to fix this. WATCH THE INPUT AND OUTPUT LIGHTS. That will tell you what it is doing. When you have a fault/malfunction look at the time it happened in the bay then...
I don't use fonic wash but with soft water I'm on a yellow tip at some locations and up to green at others for high pressure soap. Even though there all the same pump stands and same chemical each one pulls different. There is to many variables. Id start with yellow or even purple to see how it...
What chemical company? Ive never heard of a tip getting clogged from the chemical itself. Unless it's either garbage, old chemical, or a tip thats 10 years old. Ive never pre mixed and you shouldn't have to either. Complete waste of time and space.
