The D&S venders use solenoids to actuate the shelf drop, not motors, and I would guess the solenoid is bad. To isolate the problem take the solenoid off and manually move the bar on the back of the shelf unit to drop shelves, if they drop then it is most likely the solenoid.

After you power back up press the UP & DOWN buttons (on the circuit board) simultaneously to reset. On the shiny black sheet that covers the circuit board if you look at the top it has 'To Clear Any Malfunctions' press UP & DOWN. Call me if this does not bring it back to life.

For Laurel electronic venders quarters are in #6 and dollar coins in #5. Other manufacturers may have different config's but it does not matter which # you program in as long as you don't use the one that your token is programmed into.

I can tell you that we got stiffed. They ordered a couple of electronic venders right before they closed the doors (fall of 2006) and have yet to pay for them.

The 'E..1' error message appears if the motor for that column does not cycle completely in the allotted time. My guess is that one of the gears in the motor has a bad spot and it is stalling during the rotation, though sometimes it may have enough inertia to make it past and finish in time. We...

If you remove the clear plastic cap, it should work. Not a great fix but it's the only way to use the new bottles since changing the column width is not workable. Armor All does not usually check with us before making a change.
