Duct tape looks so temporary & trashy. We secure with 4 screws. When a customer snags the hose it unravels at the boom. The hose is made of plastic & the weakest part. The boom won't fall.
Take the high road & refund her money. You will have the LAST word & it will be a LASTING, POSITIVE gesture! $30 is not worth the negative energy & negative energy. B's like that will be %itching to any one who will listen. Kill her with kindness & it will take the wind out of her sail! 🙏🥰 ⛵️
Thank you Mike for calling me to discuss and answer my questions! (y) :) Here's a quick re-cap so everyone can better understand:
The solution EverWash is implementing on the Coinless app has already been in use at EverWash for 10 years. Every mobile device is a computer with a unique Device...
Thank you Mike! I'm relieved to hear your company is taking this seriously and has come up with an urgent solution to fix this loophole! Is the Device ID their Cell Phone #?? How will this fix connect the user to their Device ID, so they can't keep using different (non-related) Cell phone #s...
WOW OMG Holly!! You and Randy have EXPOSED a backdoor vulnerability with Coinless. SCARY!!! 😖
Please keep us posted on Randy's meeting today with EverWash/Coinless.
Hi Randy,
I'm glad you're meeting with EverWash tomorrow. They need to take this seriously! There must be more security in place, preventing customers from creating bogus accounts. Part of the problem is that when a customer creates a Coinless profile, the Verification Code is NOT texted to...
We switched to high-security $1 tokens 10 years ago (2015), due to quarter theft. I was on-site a lot and once customers understood the WHY, they accepted them. It was NOT a scam or con-game! I was happy to exchange quarters for tokens or buy back any unused tokens. We went with two-tone...

Where are you located Tylersizemore5? I have Hamilton equipment too. I've been using X-Cel Electronics in Las Vegas, NV for 20 years. Dan Wesolaski is a certified Hamilton repair tech. Very knowledge, personal and helpful! I think he does a better job repairing validators and hoppers than...
Here's TAP TO PAY signs we use at our car wash... Did you know that by reversing the wires you can change the color of the STOP button - from GREEN to RED? RED made more sense, since psychologically RED means STOP. Reduced customer confusion for us!
Who do you buy your soap from? Here in Northern California, my soap rep company contracts with a sub-contractor who installed the Diskin dryers for me. You can also hire a qualified & insured handyman / electrician to do. Follow the tips given in this Forum.
Lol! I think its really my EGO that enjoys replacing decals! It's cleaner than most cw tasks, I'm standing upright, no ladder needed & customers QUICKLY notice the improvement!! How many times has a customer thanked you for emptying the trash, the vacuums, cleaning the pits, sweeping...
As already stated above, a heat gun works great! Be careful around plastic & electronics. Keep the gun moving. Heat can cause "spider" cracks in plastic. I really enjoyed replacing decals! I typically use just a heat gun, medium steel wool, Goof Off & Rubbing Alcohol. TIP: Adhesive chemicals...
I know you have cameras and another job, it's a bummer you weren't able to see the 2 signs he posted and he didn't call! :( I don't think you would win in court. He was trying to be helpful. I had a similar experience at my SS wash. They fixed a piece of masking tape to the coin acceptor door...
Lol! I dont think car wash operators can retire, we just become teachers for the next generation. What do you do with all your head-knowledge, experience, energy & time?? 😅
On Christmas morning 2020, I found a bunch of high-quality ski boots & equipment in our trash cans. Some were brand new with tags. We thought it was odd, so called local police department, and set everything aside. Turns out everything belonged to a family on their way to the ski slopes. The...
