you said "blow out with water" so I was wondering. I keep mine at 35 to be safe and never had a freeze up. So you blow your HP lines out with air also? I would think that still could freeze if it got cold enough, there is always some moisture even in air.

What size is the water companies line that feeds into your ¾” ? I know we had to get the PUC involved to get the local water co in one of our locations to put in a larger line in out in the road.

We always did pipe dope first, then the tape. Also plumbed a whole wash using teflon tape and blue rtv on top, not one leak on that whole job, also like Randy said the leak lock blue works great also.
I would like to know where it was when it caught on fire? It could have been pulled into the street or even in your lot and let it burn while you call 911, makes no sense at all that this person would pull that to a location where it could have possibly caused a fire there.
