It's easier than you might think, but it's also really messy. I strongly recommend building up a contained area inside the room to keep the dust out of the equipment.
They are super smooth and swivel very freely. Like I said I've never used them, but I've seen them at multiple washes and I've never seen one leak or stiffen up.
The polite thing to do would be to tell why you're asking. You obviously have no intention of spending a quarter million dollars on a piece of equipment anytime soon. Why is it a problem for you to say who you are and what your need for information is?
I haven't used them myself, but I know a couple guys who have. They definitely last a long time, even at the gun, and they swivel really easy. I thought they were way more expensive, but they're only $30.73. I might have to try them as an inline swivel, but I'll stick with the Adams 7080 at...
My girlfriend has family up there, so that's a possibility. I'll be sure to pack a few tools if I ever visit them with her. I have actually cleared a clogged tip for someone I know with nothing but my Leatherman.
