    Credit card for change machine

I added a cryptopay swiper to a Hamilton drs. I do one swipe for $10. ( ten $1 tokens) It was super easy. I just tapped into the $5 wire from the validator, and had crypto program 2 pulses to it when card is swiped. I added a relay from the swiper power source that is activated by the " out of...

Raypack Gas Valve Issue Please Help

When this happened to me, I just ordered a bunch of 24vac coils from ebay and amazon. I might have spent $100 bucks. I picked the tightest one, gooked it up with die electric grease, and stuck it on. It has been working 10 years +. There is nothing special about a 24vac coil; you just need it...

    For new carwash owners

Doesn't Kleen-Rite still do it? It has been a couple of years since I sent one there.

Credit/Debit Card Charges by the Providers

Yes, agree. To clarify, I edited my original as the lowest I have seen is 3.1 and the highest at 3.5%. But I am running only automatics and a single Hamilton changer set for a single swipe for $10 in tokens; at each location. The higher avg ticket at the busier location certainly yields the...

One location avg ticket $13.67, rate at 3.10% on $27083 in sales. My other location avg ticket is $11.44, rate at 3.44% on $5277 in sales. ( just the most recent months statement) It does flutuate just a little month to month.

    Vac motors - 120 or 220v

I would not want my guys messing with 220/240. That is an unneccessary risk, for virtually no gain.

Survival; Just bought a car wash, Now tunnel opening a block away

I was traveling last week, and dropped into an newer AutoBell to check it out. I have a black car, and did the exterior only. They call it Super Ride-Thru with upgrade for $20. Got down the road a few miles to a market. Checked the car out, and it was literally spotted from front to rear; paint...

Vac It Up system run constantly on one vacuum

Or most likely the timer has gone bad, or taken a power spike.

    self serve exhaust cleaner system

He probably failed an emissions inspection. They maybe told him to "blow it,out", and this is what he thought they meant. Only explaination I can come up with for something that stupid.

WW2 Oscillating Motor Tripped | Yaskawa GPD 305/J7 VFD

Try to run them manually from the vfd. If they will not run, most likely the motor is bad. It is possible it could be wire to vfd or wire from vfd to motor. Check for 220/240 volts across all leads in and out.

    Floor heat question

To add to what Gary said..... I used that product at a location with a small leak. I did exactly what the bottle said. I poured two whole bottles in my expansion tank, and ran the circulator for 48 hours, with no heat. Then system off. Then when floor heat season came around, I just turned the...

    Erie hogs hair

Any chance it is some ingredient in your chemical brand? I have never had any Erie brushes do that. I just got 13 in, and looked all of them. They all appear well made, with no epoxy showing.

    Erie hogs hair

I use the Erie 212300. (KR FO202ah) Most of those returned brushes would never see the light of day at my wash. I change the brush about every 3-4 months. I have a high volume wash, and keeping a ratty looking brush on the handle is out of the question. Brush quality/appearance is second only...

Reviving this old thread. Has anyone installed the Airlift XRS doors in 12'W x 10'H recently? I need to replace 4 poly doors, and looking to see what current pricing is running. Thanks in advance.
