Screw the bolts you removed into the unused threaded holes in the disc. They will go all the way through and push the sheave off of the hub. The threads could be rusty, so you may want to run a tap through the holes to cleans the threads first.
They don’t offer a free rebuild. The original W head has a lifetime warranty for washout. They will replace it once, but it’s just the bare head. You will need to foot the bill for anything else.
I'll admit that I haven't re-read the complete thread, but why do you want the bays so long? The best location for the dryers are outside. That gets them out of the harsh touchless IBA environment, eliminates drippage from the door edge or whatever else droplets are clinging to, is much less bay...
On my hoppers, the wire terminals were exposed. So to bypass, I just stacked both wires on the same terminal. I never had any "stripe" hoppers, so I don't know if they are the same.
Why on earth do people screw around with those stupid ass things? I've never seen one work right. Do you think the customer gives two squirts about a sheet of foam? All they can see is that their car is not getting completely covered with soap when they don't work right, which is all the time...
Are you dispensing tokens? I had hopper empty issues with the older MK IV hoppers, that drove me crazy. It ended up that my tokens weren't as conductive as quarters or dollars and would often throw the machine out of service. Bypassed the empty switch and the problem went away.
