Chris do you have a update for us yet? I think if you used a turbo nozzle to clean up the paint on your fresh asphalt sealed lot is would take off the sealer. I've had to deal with similar situations over the years and it frustrating to say the least. I've found that calling the police is...
Looks to me like he's going to need 2 new bill changers, I see 2 empty CM-1 changer cabinets. you could put new guts in those cabinets or replace them with a Hamilton RNS-XT, the RNS has a larger face panel that is the same size as the CM-1 face.
You should never use a brass manifold for any of the corrosive chemicals. when you remove the valve stems you want to inspect the valve seat for any kind erosion of the seat. If you find any erosion you'll need to replace the manifold. We build our manifolds with stainless steel Kip valves, I've...
What in the hell! Wood. I've never seen a ACW installed like that before. A round here it'd last about 20 minutes and it'd be gone. What's inside the ACW? You mean to tell that there is no harness or controller inside the changer, nothing!
That's an old Hamilton CM-1 changer, they don't make anything that dimension anymore. Post a picture of the inside of the bill changer and I can tell you which way to go. I've done a lot of changer rebuilds and installs. Also post a picture of your ACW, inside and out.
I wouldn't be afraid of using it. We have strainers on all of our chemical tanks to prevent any debris from getting into the systems. This is the one we use https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-111-smc-5732290-white-nylon-inline-strainer-with-clear-bowl-1-2in-80-mesh-screen.aspx
I run my Presoak at 110psi with a Procon pump. I use Simoniz powder Correct Presoak with a "T" at the Hydrominder and add High pressure soap in with the Presoak.
The shelf life Turtle Wax soap products is around 5 years. Turtle Wax makes a good product, it's expensive. It's highly concentrated so you need to mix it with 10 gallons of water and then pull it out container with your Hydrominder.
Welcome to the car wash world. Car washes are synonymous as a transfer site for the dump, a place that the general public can bring or do whatever they want to. Do you have signs posted that the garbage cans are for customer use only? Do you have a camera system? If you do start calling the...
Swap the the Dixmor timer with another bay and see if the problem goes with the timer. If it does send the timer to Dixmor for repair. If the problem stays at the bay replace the horn
I’ll have to check the next time I go to the wash. I believe it might be a Green or Tan. On most of my chemicals I use a Turtle Wax dual tip metering block so I can add a little bit of Presoak or foam brush soap to the mix.
What’s going is you have a bacterial growth or bloom growing between the soap and the water. It happens primarily in the summer when the temperatures rise. What you should is clean all the “snot slime” out of the tank add a couple of 1” swimming pool bleach pellets. You can get the bleach...
If he's already got a LED-3 timer he's got a 24 volt transformer. The LED-3 timers are obsolete and they aren't supported any more. The LED-7 has all the necessary inputs for the credit card reader. I personally wouldn't install a card swipe, but would install Tap reader.
When I was a young man starting out in the industrial world part of my apprenticeship was I had to work in the hose shop for 6 months. We made every hose you could ever think of. Looking at that hose in the picture and seeing how swelled up it is and with a 300 psi working pressure you need to...
I wonder if you could clean those housing up, sandblast them and have them re-chromed? Have you ever looked at LAI locks
