HA! Virtually every customer of mine has the “glazed eye” condition.
My service calls would likely be halved if there were corrective lenses or medication.
That's the story.
Might have something to do with the CryptoPay/Dixmor relationship?
(Rumor and innuendo mode OFF)
Too bad, because I like the LED6 display better.
Turn on a non-soaping bay.
Place the tip of a pocket screwdriver on top of that bay's soap solenoid.
If it feels magnetized the electrical circuit is functioning properly.
If it doesn't, you have an open circuit...most likely the 24v commons for those 4 bays have become disconnected.
Correct info Keno.
Prior to the "redesign", Dixmor LED6 was the easiest way to install Nayax...
Nayax Pulse wire 1 to LED6 Pin 8 (White/Black wire). Boom, Done!
On the Dixmor LED7...
Pulse wire 1 to LED7 Pin 9 (White/Black). Same Boom, Done!
No interface Opto-coupler relay required.
That's correct...in theory.
Old Guy Side Note:
Decades ago, those newfangled digital display coinbox timers used a board-mounted battery to maintain the programmed settings memory.
If the timer's battery was dead and the car wash experienced a power outage...well, timer settings reprogramming...
Here's a possible anti-confusion solution:
The HiLetgo 5-volt module features double throw relay contacts.
Power the LED6 (Orange wire) thru the relay’s N/C contact.
When Nayax activates, the relay switches to the N/O contact and power is removed from the LED6.
When credit card is stopped or...
You can by-pass any coin box timer and just let the Nayax provide the power to run the bay. It will display count-up time and money spent.
See my informative post here.
It snowed 10-12” over the weekend with temperatures dropping into the low teens.
Monday, the clouds broke, the sun appeared, the streets cleared with sub 30F temp. (We’re closer to the sun here… donchaknow?)
The queues were 3-5 cars deep at most of the coin-ops.
“You should start taking...
Noob,
I'm not comfortable giving electrical advise to self-proclaimed electrical idiots. LOL!
After re-reading your thread starting inquiry, disregard all my excessive instructions.
Your existing or newly purchased float switch will work. Just cut the electrical plug off and connect it's 2...
Using an Omron LY2N24VAC DPDT relay
From your car wash’s transformer:
24v Hot to one wire from both float switches
24v Neutral to Relay’s coil (Omron terminal 8)
On the relay:
Low level float switch’s other wire connects to relay coil (terminal 7)
High level float switch’s other wire...
Air Logic features Dema solenoid manifolds with incorporated metering valve. The air manifolds don't have metering valves.
It's possible that Bay's 1 & 2 have debris blocking the outlets of the metering valve manifold. Try fully opening the metering screws on the "Product" manifold. If that...
I’ve never been comfortable powering RO machines with 120v in the SFR water tank.
Additionally, the 100 gal SFR tanks I use are only about 36” high so there’s not enough swing room for the float to open/close the circuit.
And, when the tank is filling the waves/sloshing frequently causes the...
IF the anchor goes into solid concrete or brick (no voids), I'd suggest these Nail In anchors with appropriate flat washers.
Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware sell them, too.
My experience is with single column electronic vendors.
The new board's display is completely hidden behind the old door. I'd expect the 3-column vendor to have the same issue.
No offense Waxman but...that 20-year-old vendor has served you well. Fix it right with a new door and decal.
You're...
I use blue 1/4" high pressure hose with 3/8” crimp on ends.
Install a 3/8” brass Street Elbow on the handle inlet and add your favorite 3/8” swivel on each end of the hose.
They’ll last many years.
