Cold weather and Wash Select II

I agree with Dcalhoun, the fan has heating coils on it, the digits do go dim in cold weather even in Texas, but they come back on in warmer weather the next day!

I understand about the wheel scrub, we still have them, my wife demands we keep them, and I admit, customers keep coming back because of them. they are a pain to keep going, I do 99 percent of the maintenance myself with help from my youngest son. small town we need something different.

the count prox inside the gantry has a light on it, the eye/sensor in the can on the outside of the gantry does not have a light. When you hold something steel next to the eye/sensor the light on the computer inside the auto cabinet should come on.

It sounds like the eye is not seeing the flag at the bottom of the arch, make sure its maybe 1/4 of an inch clearance.

it may not work at all without that prox , but, the wash will not work without it, because it doesn't know where the end of the arch is. if one of those flags get bent to where the prox cannot read it, the wash stop on that end of the arch.

16 and 17 inside the cabinet control the gantry. If the hyd pump comes on in manual, push one of the relays and see if it moves.

    506/507 Hydrominder leaking through.

Just rebuild it with a kit from a cw supply. its easy to do and most likely will fix it.

In central Texas we have it pumped by a service company, they dispose of it in a land fill. It has to be tested every two years.
