I have a customer who wants a wash put in a 14' wide bay that is 29' 4" wide. They want to pull in and back out. Anybody have a wash the really like that will fit in this space?
I get calls all the time and I think to myself "this is impossible". Notice I said: "think to myself", as I have often found when the public is involved, ANYTHING is possible!
Earl may be one of the first people I have heard recommend Filament brushes! All the machines I serviced my first 10 years as a car wash technician used QUALITY polypropylene brushes. They do a great job!
The treadle Jimmy has is one of the better ones (mercury switch and a spring return) but they will eventually need replacing due to wear. I think it all depends on the quality of the pressure pad. I have used pressure pads on other washes, but not on a Ryko. Its just a Normally open switch so...
I heard the same thing as Soapy. We keep all of our clutches running properly and have never tied the two sections together. The foam brite retro kit to for a Voyager two does not have clutches.
Purchase some fiberglass tiger hair or fiberstrand from Napa. Mix some up following the directions and apply it to the outside of the tank. I would prep the tank before hand with a grinder or very course sand paper. I have radiator that was fixed like this over 25 years ago AND the sump in the...
Ryko uses electric motors on every wash they make. Its all in the quality of cables, covers and motors. I have seen them last 15 +years. I like them because they are safer, cleaner and easier to work on.
California is a Ryko factory direct area. The Central California service # is:714-441-0637 and 714-441-0634. I know the service manager for this area and he is one of the best! The Sacramento office # is 916-372-8815 and the Hayward office is 510-441-2682.
The rear arms will only oscillate on taller vehicles. If everything was working before and no programing was changed, I would guess it is a solenoid has failed or is intermittent. It could be lots of things including the brushes themselves could need some sections replaced. The best thing to do...
We actually have sites that want them the reclaim running. When the reclaim goes down, the water bill goes up and the people who pay the bills notice the cost increase. Recirculating the water to introduce oxygen is the key to keeping the smell down.
Ryko actually makes a presoak designed for hard water (Supreme Clean HW). Seems to work very well, we have a site that uses it to clean garbage trucks in a drive through touchless wash
Anyone ever seen these before? The website has very little info about the wash itself. Looks like it originated in Chicago and is only sold in the midwest.

Hardness is hardness whether its at home or in a car wash.
Titration are the levels the manufacture wants the chemical set at. Titration is proprietary to the product.
