So you are saying when they call it "conditioner" it is a soap and "polish" is almost wax. This is good to know. Our tri foam detergent is a high quality soap for brush machines and our tri foam wax is a "show" wax which should be followed with a surface sealant, wax or clear coat sealant. The...
Ph is one way of setting up presoak, we did it that way for years. If he was using PH to set the presoak, it would be one way of checking the chemical strength. As far as any chemical other than presoak, you will just have to check the "performance" of each barrel. If you have to keep changing...
Sorry I missed this thread! I did this years ago for a customer (its still in operation today). Of course you want it as far away from the dryer as possible. We are putting wax on instead of RO but its the same idea. The best thing I did was to install photo eyes so it only works when they are...
It could also be the air cylinder itself. Also check your air pressure to the top brush, how fast does it go up? Is it hitting the stop bumpers real hard?
Ryko makes a very nice Bifold door that can be easily fixed if hit (even has sensors in the rubber to open the door FAST if it touches a car). The newest version is poly and lets a LOT of light pass through from ceiling to floor. We have been installing these for over 20 years and they will last...
Detergent is normally for brush machines and "Polish" is often times a wax. I have found little consistency in terminology when it comes to "tri-foam". With Ryko, they call it tri foam det and tri foam wax. Normally we use the det with brush machines and apply it as one of if not the first pass...
I assume you have a touchless wash. How are you setting the presoak now? Are you using titration? If you have to make adjustments to get the same titration or PH levels between barrels, then you may have problems.
All the pits should go to the sanitary sewer at the street. When you let everything fill up with dirt eventually the line to the street gets clogged and will need cleaned out.
What a mess! It sounds like your only alternative is to deal with Intellio and make them listen to you or get a new coinbox. Do you have John Carrol's cell phone #?
Drying is about efficiency/design not Horsepower as many manufactures want you to believe. Throwing more horsepower at drying will increase your operating expense. We use the Thrust Pro Dryer, it has four 7.5 HP motors. I have a used one if your interested.......

Every pass speed is adjustable so it will run as fast or slow as you want. It even has the capability to speed up if the line gets too long! I have a customer who has had us time his wash. These times are base4d on my tech's vans which are full size extended Ford and Chevy vans.

We installed 4 units two or three years ago (intelio's) and we had similar problems. Two were pulled out and are sitting in our warehouse (we replaced them with Ryko AMTT's). One is about to be replaced by Intelio with another Intelio (at a reduced cost) and the other has settled down and has...
