What is the name
What is the name of the tunnel wash that came in to your town? The promotional pricing is the exact same as the one that moved in to our town.
We use simoniz products for pretty much everything in our IBA. Very happy with their products. We used to use their liquid presoaks but switched to the powder two years ago. Simoniz Correct cleans very well, is harder to mix than some other powders we have used though. We have someone at our...
7.5-8. We Didnt go with a low ph triple foam since we didnt want high ph presoak to be as neutralized when triple foam goes on top of it. We do low ph, dwell, High PH, dwell, triple Foam, then HP Rinse. Show actually looks super good going on top of the presoak since it looks extra bubbly.
One thing that we started doing to maximize cleaning power that is showing great results has been to put the triple foam right on top of the presoak. By doing this it maximizes dwell time that the presoak is on the vehicle. I know some other operators have been doing this as well and have found...
Thank you for all the feedback. Our big thing is that we have in my honest opinion the best IBA in town for touchless. Most other washes are running old equipment or bad chemicals. We have a lot of loyal customers with expensive vehicles who will not take their cars through a non automatic wash...
We used to. We had an app where customers would have an account set up and get discounts. Washes would be activated by their phone. We saw our profits go up substantially when we ended it and before we had it. We are also located in an area where cell service can be very poor at times...
We recently had a tunnel wash come in to our town that we operate it in. I will be honest it is very impressive and can tell there was millions of dollars put in to this wash. They are offering huge discounts in the first six months for customers to sign up with their unlimited plan. First month...
If you buy premium chemicals, you most likely will have a higher success rate of providing a good wash for the public. I would rather spend the extra $ and have a busy wash, Then skimp on chemical quality or quantity and have my wash sitting unused. When I first started I thought the premium...
Do you know the what bearings are used for the carriage on your Kondor? We repacked ours in the past since we did not know what type of car they came off of?
What would you recommend I set pricing for my three washes, and what to get rid of?
Current set up:
$8: presoak, HP, Spot Free
$10: triple foam, wax,
$12: Ceramic
What would you say would be the more top tier, graphene or ceramic? We are retooling our wash this summer and wanted to add graphene. We were thinking to have four wash packages. Base @ $8 then $10 which includes hot wax. $12 which has ceramic or graphene? and then $14 which has both. We are in...
We have ours dissembled with the bearing out. We can't find a part number on it, so am checking with AutoZone to see exactly what type it would be. I looks to be off a old GM car.
We diagnosed the problem after lifting the wheels. The bearing are getting old and having too much resistance to let the wheels spin freely. Is this a bearing that can be found other places besides belanger? We wont get the bearings until this weekend so I want to minimize downtime.
We found the cause! Attached is a video. The drive wheel is spinning regular but the prox wheel is just sliding. When I turn the prox wheel by hand it seems to turn fun though? It looks like it isn't making good contact with the rail. Have you run in to this before?
