No dirt or film, We have a dealership at our site so the cars that we have ran through and tested on have all been wash waxed and polished and had any contaminates removed. Think it is worth a call to Simoniz? The ceramic is applied through a IBA Kondor. One of our customers who brings his cars...
One of our workers has a new car that they just purchased. We have ran it through on our standard wash, no roughness, then run it back through with the ceramic and it feels rough. We have tested on multiple vehicles before and after, we have verified it is whenever the car gets the ceramic...
We have been doing professional detailing for the last 10 years. Do not lose sweat over the customers who do not want to pay your prices. It sounds like you are inline with your competitors pricing. The customers who don't want to pay are usually the ones who aren't appreciative of your work...
We have been using Simoniz Ceramic in our IBA for the last few months. Shine and water beading is very good. But I have noticed that when you run your had on the paint of the vehicle after the car is dry that it doesn't feel nice and smooth. It has a more of a rough feeling, you cant see it but...
Yeah bad bearing could be a possibility with the extra friction its causing it to slow down. We have the exact same pump at our location but ours has been pretty bullet proof.
Find a local distributor and they will be very helpful with any questions you have related to start up. That is what they do for a living and they will see you as a potential customer so will most likely go above and beyond. Ours has been very helpful over the years.
I would not get involved in this if I were you. 200 miles away is pretty far away to be maintaining a wash, weather you have have family or not in that area. I think this would be a drain on your well being as well as a lack of drive to keep this location maintained with it being such a far...
We have feather flags by the street that we alternate between a few different ones to keep changing things up. Really inexpensive way to catch peoples attention. Also try to hit home the 24/7 open as that sets you apart from the tunnels.
I think that in the fact in your original post you stated "However I think my town may be a little more oriented towards cash" is your answer that you shouldn't drop cash if your town is accustomed to it.
From what I have heard and read over the years the Petit is a speedy workhorse. I know a lot of people swear by razors though as well. If I was personally putting in a new wash I would also go with a petit because of the low maintenance.
Is your IBA you are looking to take out not cleaning well or functioning properly? If you are putting out good cars and the community is happy with your wash I personally wouldn't change it up unless repairs on machine were adding up or nearing end of its life cycle.
Anyone try Kleen-Rite Kleen-Pak Graphene Blast? I see its a new product being offered by Kleenrite. Thinking about pairing graphene wit hmy top wash by end of summer and want to see everyones thoughts on it. Was originally gonna go with Simoniz graphene but saw this had higher dilution which...
Curious what you recommend as a good strong powdered presoak that is still safe for equipment and cars. We have tried inbay turbo powder, simoniz correct, and super wash. Not to concerned on the cost as most powders are still cheaper than liquid presoak. Any input would be greatly appreciated...
