Anyone repair their own motors? (Start switches, bearings, etc)

When the local shop repairs the motors, do they replace the switch and bearings or just the switch? How long does it take to repair the motor and do they offer any type of warranty with the repair? Just curious what all is involved with their repair.

Maybe having the local motor shop fix them, wouldn’t have been too expensive after all.

    Chemical shipping cost?

If you’re ordering 1 5gl bucket and having it shipped to you, it won’t matter where you order it from, it will cost you an arm and a leg. I would find a good local company, but you will probably have to buy several buckets of chemicals to get them to deliver it for free. You may be able to...

PDQ Access won’t take bills after $10 balance

I know nothing about a PDQ kiosk, but if I am understanding you correctly, your top wash use to be $10? If that is the case, I would think there is a setting in the kiosk that shuts the bill acceptor down when the amount of the top wash is reached, in your case, before the price increase...

    New Hamilton Goldline ACW problems!!

@1860CW, so you joined the forum yesterday and made this post about an hour later. You’ve been asked to tell us what issues you are having with this new Gold Line, if you have spoken with Hamilton about these issues and what 3 components you have replaced on this unit. So far, no response back...

    Led-7 dixmore

As far as I know, there hasn't been any changes made to the Led 7, so they should work just fine with Nayax in count up mode. @UtahYoutubeGuy may be able to confirm this.

    Another bogus insurance claim

Hope they don't either. Roughly 20 years ago, I had a lady fall right outside one of my self serve bays and break a hip. I had very clear video of the towing company, who had just 5 minutes prior washed antifreeze and oil off the back of a rollback into the parking lot where the lady fell...

Have you checked with KC Chemicals? I know they are close to you and have sold quite a bit of Belanger equipment over the years.

Has anybody tried this credit card setup

I’m pretty sure if you install the Crypto kit, which includes the piggy back board from Cryptopay to make the tap work right, you will lose a lot of the functionality of the Unitec. I’m pretty sure if that scenario would work, somebody would have done it by now, but there’s only one way to find out.

Has anybody tried this credit card setup

I don’t see any way that you can just install a Cryptotap plus, wire it into the token input and make that work. Basically, it will be just like a coin or bill acceptor and let’s say you have 4 different wash packages $8, $10, $12 and $14. When you select one of those packages, how would the...

Depending on your incoming voltage, you’re looking somewhere between 15-17 amps. Either way, the overload you have on Bay 1 is too small.

    Ginsan GS-402

On the time per coins dip switches, turn on the combination of switches to equal 45. Leave coins to start at 2 and you will be .50 for 1.5 minutes.
