No to vendors in the bay, Too many reasons to list but here are a couple, If you sell towels in the bay you are promoting them to spend time "detailing" in the bay with no timer running for a product that you already make pennies on or they are more likely to be prone to vandalism with the...
Ive never converted a SS to and IBA but my opinion is if you have a loyal customer base there will be a conversion of some of your SS customers to the IBA this should translate to them spending less in the SS to More on the IBA and you make more money...Not to mention the extra customers you...
I always try to keep my washes priced higher than any others in the surrounding areas for 2 reason:
1st i keep my equipment well maintained with more functions than any others. I keep the facilities cleaned very well
2nd i am after the higher end customers, even though it is self serve there...
I have 1 wash that is 1/4" and one that is 3/8" I have noticed no discernable difference on pumps, Pump maintenance etc. The main difference i have is on high pressure functions the changeover time is less on the 1/4" vs 3/8"
At 1.5gpg i wouldnt fool with the softener at all. I have 1 site that is 3 gpg and dont run a softener there at all, i go to carbon tank and then my ro for sfr. Everything else gets the tap. Its a whole lot easier without the softener IMO. My other site we run twin softeners due to 18-19gpg...
We have used Simoniz orange slice for tc for years. We also used the KR Summer Rain for ps. McClean convinced me to try their SS Chemicals. I did and I do not regret in any way trying it. We now use MCclean on our ps and tc. KR Bubble up on FB, kr orange cream for hp soap. and Jbs rinse aid...
Your Currently at $1 for 2 min, I would go to $2 for 4 min NOW. Alot of people just put the minimum in and hose off what ever they can get for that time. Get them used to spending the $2 first....then sometime year end or early next year cut the time back. Your Customers are thinking in...
I have no experience with the tap plus, i was under the impression you could print out a QR code to use as your attendant card. If i were to add these in the future i would print the QR and laminate it if that is in-fact the case.
I would scrap the $1.75 and go to a flat $2.00. Get your customers thinking in $1.00 increments. Do you have Credit Card Acceptance? CC are probably the #1 thing you can add to go to the bottom line. I took over my first site in 2020 that had been in the family since 1986. Dad was in no...
I replace the brushes as soon as the thing stops sucking, i do check vacs 3 days a week minimum to stay on top of them. I have several vac that have motors that have been in service since 2013 and 2014. Brushes are cheap motors are expensive, everytime i change a motor i write the date on the...
I could definitely concur with Dan on this as asthetics do play a major role. I took over a similar functional 10/1 Iba site last april in which everything was 100% functional but looked like a dump. The 1st thing i did was order New Meter Boxes to get CC in the bays & Vacs. I began the order...
Depends on what youre trying to accomplish.
For me i would do the following.
1. Tokens...turns the changer into an immediate profit center while removing cash from the site by the only qtrs being customer supplied if you elect to continue accepting those.
2. Vac cc readers. Assuming you...
