The slugbuster you have is single coin...the quarter that is in the unit is your sample coin. A slugbuster2 will have 2 sample coins, typically a quarter and a token as well a a set of dip switches to set the tokens value for pulses.

I accept CC, $1 tokens, and customer supplied quarters. I know your thought is converting from quarters to tokens or $1 coins will be the fastest relief, but in all honesty converting to tokens will be your more expensive avenue and probably the most time consuming, and not really generating...

Ive got both, for customer useability i like the microcoins more as they tend to reject less coins but usually once you get a slugbuster dialed in they are VERY reliable. I do like being able to send slugbuster in for repairs or recalibration ($65 was the last one i sent back)

I i have a handle break i dont replace it for the very reason of having to fight to drill screws out. I take a piece of copper wire and loop it through the retainers and twist it back on itself and make my own handle.
