Would i try to get the pressure up yes. I run around 1050 to 1100 psi with trigger pulled on 2506 or 2507 tips. But the first thing i think of is when i have people complain about low pressure is, were they pulling the trigger? 9/10 times its no they were not. Thats why when im on site and...
The carwash business is hugely dependent on weather. Rainy they dont wash, calling for rain they may wash, too cold they dont wash, too hot they dont wash. Its a heat wave going on right now in my area and things are pretty slow. Use the time when your slow to clean and upgrade/update, or do...
Thats everything ive done in 6.5 years. Pretty small list considering alot has been preventative in my mind. Im ocd and dont like being down, i will replace suspect parts on a rainy day so i know im good on the sunny days. I have a vector that im replacing in september. ive put 3x the price...
I have had to replace a trolly gear box, rebuild a changeover valve, replace various hp hoses, replaced a couple fittings, replaced nozzles, one prox sensor, one set of photo eyes, replaced a couple relays that hang occasionally, monthly greasing, just replaced the belts on the rails a month or...
Not a lot you can do I dont get bent over it any more. I do the following.
1. Make sure you have signage for what ever you want to deter so you can reference it...no paint, muddy messes, leave it cleaner for the next customer, etc. etc etc.
2. Anytime i have activity that im not fond of i...
I have ball valves before every solenoid to every function. If i have a flow jet cycling when the function is not active, I close the ball vavles 1st and see if the problem goes away. If it does, i will then open the ball valves back up one at a time until i can locate the bay the gremlin is...
I dont respond to the BBB, never have in any business ive been a part of in 25 years. I despise the BBB as they have built the reputation to people that are reviewing your business as "turning you in". I refuse to feed their ego.
I namely dont have the time to respond to every review...
If ordering 1 pail at a time youll go broke...FAST. I Order in bulk from kleenrite. Right now most of the soaps i use are buy 3 get 1 free. I order 1 pallet mix and match what you need and get free shipping with 36 pails. If you need/want to order 1 5 gallon pail at a time i would pay for...
If you don't have the budget for doing all the bays i get it. If you can get cc in them do it, sooner rather than later. You're loosing money not having them. They will more than pay for themselves in a short time frame. Adding CC is probably one of the best things you can do for a ROI aside...
bad Solenoid or short somewhere.
Intermittent issues are the hardest to locate usually its a very small short that may only happen sometimes due to temp fluctuation, vibration etc.
Sounds like the problem isnt with cryptopay itself but how the internet connections are.
Cryptopay has a way to see the connection strength between coordinator and devices, i would get them involved, tell them of the lay out and move the coordinator to the primary router and let them check...
I was doing annually as Greg and wasnt noticing any significant change in either water consumption or cleaning. I am 17 months in and dont plan to change before 24 months. Will see how it goes this time. Its not a huge expense by any means but why do something that isnt improving anything.
Black Ice, New Car, Vanillaroma, Coconut, Wild Cherry. I replaced Coconut with Caribbean Collada in the last 5 days as i had plenty of inventory remaining since KR discontinued it, so i cannot tell how well that is doing yet.
NS Wash makes some, i just had them quote me. They are nice from everything ive seen, but they are too nice for my blood. For basically a 22' long set up, a pair was in the range of $6800 not including tax or shipping
Id keep an eye out on some of the facebook carwash groups, i saw a guy have about 5 or 6 a couple weeks ago for $500 each. They looked pretty clean and had everything there, iirc they may have had cryptopay on them already. Might could grab something like that get some custom decals made...
For those that have Extrutech, i think the norm is to typically do white. Has anybody done theirs gray instead. Im thinking the gray may help to conceal staining, soiling etc. This will be for IBA only not SS.
