Usually the head has a built in bypass, but you’ll want another one in the plumbing as well. This may come in handy down the road, like next month, next year, next decade. But sometime you’ll be glad you put one in.
Check your inlet screen for your water as suggested. I found one of mine slowly clogging over time, found the inside of the hose was coming off and fouling the screen. Changed out the hose and all has been well since.
I use 3/8" 300psi hose in one of my washes and 1/2" 300psi hose in the other two. Works great, but do have to replace every now and then as expected. IMHO using an HP hose would give you the same benefit in terms of foam, but would add weight with the steel braid and add to the force of the...
Wow, someone had some fun with PVC piping didn't they? I've never seen supply lines installed with PVC, not sure that's code? I'd wipe that all out and do it in copper, either by sweating or propress as copper globe says. I haven't used propress, fittings are pricey, but labor time is much...
I agree with the others, that's way too high for the install. I did my own myself, 2" pipe, never sweated pipes before. Watched plenty of YouTube videos and slept at a Holiday Inn Express the night before I did it. It's not hard to sweat pipes, and I highly recommend watching videos as there...
A lot of the time it's simply knowing what nomenclature to search on. Most times I just stumble across things as I'm googling parts and such, then try to save the site I saw it at. This one is now saved. ;)
I have the air shammee, three motor unit, attic mount. Have only had to replace the nozzle, as it gets abused by the customer, not from use but from tossing it onto the floor like they do the high pressure wands. After all, that's where you're supposed to put the equipment when you're done...
I don't think it's a car wash thing, at least not something that passes liquid since there's no hole on the end. I agree it looks like an adapter for a broom. Put them in a box, mark them as IMPORTANT/FRAGILE and put them in the attic. Lol
I've never had a support issue with PDQ. As long as you're somewhat technical and can speak the language, you'll be fine. Remember, there's only so much they can do over the phone. Not being onsite is tough to troubleshoot.
I use two step, wouldn't do anything different as the customers enjoy the outcome. Concerning the film, that's just plain tough to get off in a touch less. Usually I ask the customer when the last time they washed it by hand was, usually the answer is that they can't remember. I then explain the...
