We have feather flags by the street that we alternate between a few different ones to keep changing things up. Really inexpensive way to catch peoples attention. Also try to hit home the 24/7 open as that sets you apart from the tunnels.
I think that in the fact in your original post you stated "However I think my town may be a little more oriented towards cash" is your answer that you shouldn't drop cash if your town is accustomed to it.
From what I have heard and read over the years the Petit is a speedy workhorse. I know a lot of people swear by razors though as well. If I was personally putting in a new wash I would also go with a petit because of the low maintenance.
Is your IBA you are looking to take out not cleaning well or functioning properly? If you are putting out good cars and the community is happy with your wash I personally wouldn't change it up unless repairs on machine were adding up or nearing end of its life cycle.
Anyone try Kleen-Rite Kleen-Pak Graphene Blast? I see its a new product being offered by Kleenrite. Thinking about pairing graphene wit hmy top wash by end of summer and want to see everyones thoughts on it. Was originally gonna go with Simoniz graphene but saw this had higher dilution which...
Curious what you recommend as a good strong powdered presoak that is still safe for equipment and cars. We have tried inbay turbo powder, simoniz correct, and super wash. Not to concerned on the cost as most powders are still cheaper than liquid presoak. Any input would be greatly appreciated...
What is the name
What is the name of the tunnel wash that came in to your town? The promotional pricing is the exact same as the one that moved in to our town.
We use simoniz products for pretty much everything in our IBA. Very happy with their products. We used to use their liquid presoaks but switched to the powder two years ago. Simoniz Correct cleans very well, is harder to mix than some other powders we have used though. We have someone at our...
7.5-8. We Didnt go with a low ph triple foam since we didnt want high ph presoak to be as neutralized when triple foam goes on top of it. We do low ph, dwell, High PH, dwell, triple Foam, then HP Rinse. Show actually looks super good going on top of the presoak since it looks extra bubbly.
One thing that we started doing to maximize cleaning power that is showing great results has been to put the triple foam right on top of the presoak. By doing this it maximizes dwell time that the presoak is on the vehicle. I know some other operators have been doing this as well and have found...
Thank you for all the feedback. Our big thing is that we have in my honest opinion the best IBA in town for touchless. Most other washes are running old equipment or bad chemicals. We have a lot of loyal customers with expensive vehicles who will not take their cars through a non automatic wash...
We used to. We had an app where customers would have an account set up and get discounts. Washes would be activated by their phone. We saw our profits go up substantially when we ended it and before we had it. We are also located in an area where cell service can be very poor at times...
