Well I sped up the wash for the weekend, and decreased dwell times. So I wanted to report back. Quality did not go down at all, as cars were still coming out clean and shiny. Happy customers going through and we broke our weekend car record as well as our single day record by a large margin. 192...
We are priced 10-14 with the 14 being ceramic, but that is the most that my area is currently willing to pay. I know from past posts that your wash is premium priced with a pretty high end wash which I agree for you it wouldn't make as much sense. I am going to trying it for the weekend and see...
The environment changes year round so wouldn't you want to change the tactics you use to clean the cars to the same great quality outcome? Why do carwashes use bug off in summer and salt buster in winter? Because different environments require different set ups.
The thing is the cars are much...
We buy everything from kleenrite. We buy some soaps that have the hazardous label on the site. We always order 1-2 pallets and have never had to pay for shipping.
Curious as if anyone speeds up their passes during the winter busy months? Some days we are lined up seven deep, and the salt comes off so easy that I'm curious the effect if I sped up the wash to be able to get more cars through in a day.
Not looking for anything specific just a ballpark, Ill probably put down 50 gallons since that is about what you have been averaging between your two washes per car. Thank you for your help.
My first thought was to call the manufacturer. They were actually kind of short with me when I asked, which I was surprised by and said they don't know the info, and would not be able to give me any type of ballpark range at all.
Hello, we have a Kondor KL2 attached to our car dealership and are trying to figure out the split between the two for energy and water usage for accounting. Does anyone have an idea of average water consumption and energy for a single bay automatic wash? Any help would be greatly appreciated...
The club carwash by us was up and running in about six months. That company does not mess around, If they announced they are opening, I would see a slim chance that they wouldn't move forward with the location. Dick Nitro, focus on what you are able to change, don't get caught up on the tunnel...
I'm in the same boat as you a Club Carwash opened up right by us as well a year ago. The first 6 months they are open they will run the craziest deals, first week was free washes. First month was $1 washes, and discounted packages first six months like 20/mo unlimited top wash. I will admit...
Care to share what is the name of the national tunnel chain that is moving? A lot of us are familiar with the different chains and how they strategize against them. Also I wouldn't recommend going in a discount ware against a chain, once you discount your prices or give stuff away for free, your...
Has anyone else been slow with the lack of snow and overcast weather? We had a decent rush the days before thanks giving, but has been very slow lately with the overcast. Our town has not had to use any salt on the road either this year. Hoping we get a good dumping soon so the lines at our wash...
Not sure how the foam is created on the futura but on our Kondor it goes through mesh foam in the foam arch right before going on the car. Every 8-12 months they start to get filled with algae and the foaming quality decreases. For us and we have to take them apart and clean them. After we clean...
Kind of curious that an A1 customer would bring this attention all of a sudden. If she was a loyal customer who took care of her car by frequent washing she would see the slow progression. Do you have cameras at your lot where you can see before and after wash videos to show that it wasn't your...
We are looking to put in a new air fill station at our carwash for our customers. We currently have an air fill station called the pnt 4 that is hooked directly to our large air compressor inside. Our customers love how fast and easy it is to use compared to the ones with a small compressor...
We run 8-basic wash, 10-undercarriage and wheel blast with tri foam, 12-hot Wax, 14-Ceramic. We barely have anyone take our $8 wash. Our prices are comparable with other IBA in our area. We would like to go higher but that is the most our market will currently pay.
