I try to remember to write the date I install the motors, or brushes, on the motor itself with a sharpie. Helps keep trap if one motor is eating up brushes quicker than normal.

I had some trouble with the Jobe valves several years ago. I don't recall if it was hot or cold water. The valves would stick open and flood the equipment room. I'm using one of the Jobe differential valves on a cold water tank, now. I replaced a hydrominder valve because of high city water...
I remember, years ago, someone was making a "Pay" Trash can. It looked like a mailbox with a small drop slot/drawer. It took a quarter to open the drawer, and locked back when you closed/dumped it. I thought it was silly back then, but I'd probably buy some now after dumping trash for 20...
We had several 1.5" hoses, and several (more) 2". I don't recall the last time I had a clogged 2" hose. The 1.5" hoses clogged regularly. I got rid of all of the 1.5" hoses, and changed everything to 2". No clogs since. I had wondered about the tapered hose, and I'll be interested to hear...
We have a single tub dog wash. I will repeat what others have said about the cleaning - it will need a lot of it. We have a hose outlet inside, and wash it down from ceiling to floor. It doesn't take too many shedding dogs to make a big mess and clog up the drain filter. We added our dog...
As far as I know, the spots from hard or soft water (High TDS - above 40 TDS) would be the same. It is your Spot Free water (low TDS) that removes/prevents spots.

The X-Stream will wash a dually, and does a great job. There are two sets of high pressure nozzles. One set sprays the roof and rocker panels. The other set is on the side arms, and washes the front, back, and sides.

They are still making them! I bought one about a year ago. It is running great. If you haven't seen one, they are worth a look. We looked at many of the big manufacturer washes, and chose the X-Stream. It does a great job at touchless cleaning, and is simple to work on (not that I've had to...
We had the same problem. We are using American Changer Paystations. (I'll try to explain as best I can recall) The Ryko sends a constant "IN SERVICE" signal to the paystation. When a vehicle exits the wash, the "IN SERVICE" signal goes off momentarily, telling the paystation that the wash is...
I have a Glory (not sure of model #) brand two pocket bill sorter. Had it many years, and have had it serviced once to update for new $5 bills. It will count a mixed batch of bills and give you a total $ amount. It works great!

We switched one of our compressors to an electronic contactor. The pressure switch only has the load of the contactor, so the points don't burn/weld/stick. It has been working for over a year at this point. It would be an easy conversion for any air compressor.
