That’s nice that you can brag about how many quarters you taking in. But don’t you think it’s pretty stupid to brag about how many quarters your coin boxes are holding on an open forum, it’s just plain dumb. Now every loser is going to see that and think that every car wash coin box is going to...
What a plumbing nightmare. Do you have a solenoid valve on each pump for the weep water? We only have one main solenoid valve on our weep systems. What you put on a new check valve before you start the pump does the weep water flow out of the gun in the affected bay? Try a different brand of...
MEP if you have the capability to accept dollar coins why would you not accept them? What kind of token are you using? Who's it made by? We have a number of Microcoin QL and we get a good number of other car wash tokens. We also have a few SB III coin acceptors and they seem to work fine.
We clean out our vacuums often, twice a week. We glean the coins out the waste and put them into a pail of water with a little presoak. After we get enough coins to make it worthwhile we dry them off and take them to the local Coin Star machine and get an Amazon gift card, that way you don’t...
I think you might be mistaken MEP, I had to clean out a couple of my ASCO Weep valves the other day, the city decided to work on the water main and got a lot of plastic debris in the water system. When I opened them up both of the ASCO 8210G34 valves have a stainless steel seat inside. One is...
I wouldn’t charge anything less than $1.50, it’s a convenience to be able to get a soda or a cold water when it’s handy. Waxman, also vend bottled water, there's a nice profit in bottle water
I couldn’t agree more, spare parts are essential in any industry. We also have spares of everything that can break or go down on a busy weekend. This situation caught us with our pants down. Our spare validator is tagged as being good, it was repaired about 2 years ago and has been on the shelf...
Tuesday morning I got the loaner Mars validator from Randy, works a heck of a lot better than the other one that died. I sent off the 2 that need to be repaired. Life is good now that I'm making change again.
What you’re going to have to do is install a valve on the water inlet on each pump with a flow meter on the soap and wax side of the pump so you can regulate the chemical flow to the pump. We use a tennis ball to hold open the gun handle in the bay.
I sent Randy a PM late last night and he called me first thing this morning. Randy had me swap out the bill cassette and do a few other tests, still no go. He said he’d send me a loaner next day Express mail, great relief to get this bill changer back up and running. He told me to send the...
We have a MARS AE2631 validator in our bill changer. We have been super busy the last few weeks so the validator has been getting a hard workout. Friday it wouldn’t take a bill, the red light on the back of the validator was steady On, controller light is steady green. I cleaned it and powered...
There nice and bright. Only problem I see is they should be centered more towards the middle of the bay or tilt the fixture so it's projecting the light more towards the center of the bay, there's to much light hitting the walls. The light that's hitting the walls is wasted light.
The validator probably needs to be serviced. When was the last time it was serviced? We pulled all of our bill validators out of our coin boxes as they failed, to much of a target for the thieves. We send all of our Mars bill validators that we still use to Randy here on the Forum for repair.
