You could try Farm Tech Poly max panels. I have had them in some automatic bays for over 20 years and they still clean up nice. Solid like a FRP sheet and they are solid and come in different thicknesses.
I like to use flow meters also. Ryko had them on their SS stuff 30 years ago and I have always liked them. I even use them in my automatics so I can verify chemical delivery.
I have heavy metal plates at one location and would not recommend them. While mud does collect on top it also becomes completly blocked and creates a dam at times leading to large pools in the bay.
Randy can supply the parts you need. The payout switch sit on top and when a quarter goes through the drop trough it pushes up a small switch that verifies payout.
I had custom made stainless steel enclosures made 30 years ago that have a flip over top with a lock for the lid. They are big enough to hold a 32 gallon Rubber made Brute trash can. They still look great today except for a couple that have been backed into. If we catch the people on camera we...

My marketing was learned years ago. Location Location Location. I bought premium properties on busy roads. I feel at 50 percent of carwash buys are impulse buys when people drive by. I have found over they years when other car washes advertise on radio, tv etc. my bisiness goes up.
I was wondering this morning about what percentage of parts are due to actual breakdown of the part through normal wear and tear vs. customer abuse or theft. Thing will obviously wear out on their own but many times they have to be replaced because of abuse. Overall I would guess that 50% of the...

A car wash appraiser once told me that it would take at least 100 cars per day per million dollars spent to break even on a tunnel car wash. Actually he figured 125 per million but many tunnel operators have told me 100 cpd.
