That's a multiplexor used to control the pump directly. There isn't one on the market that I would trust to drive a pump directly anymore. There are a few like the IDX MX8 or our GS61D that would work but you're going to want to have it trigger a 24VAC contactor that then turns on the pump...
If it's losing prime, check the tank. There should be a screen at the bottom of the tank. Take it out and clean it. It's probably not a bad idea to empty the tank and clean it as well as the plumbing from the tank to the Flojet. It also wouldn't surprise me if you had a bad fitting allowing air...
They've been saying that for over a decade. It's always 3-4 years. When Walmart, Target, Home Depot, etc decide they no longer need/want to accept mag stripes they'll go away. I do think it's closer to happening than ever but anyone trying to put a timeline on it is purely guessing.
I would definitely make is a priority to get all the vacuums up and running and looking good(new decals, hoses, etc.) They are solid revenue generators and can be a sort of bill board for the site if they are visible from the road.
Also, don't be so quick to dismiss the importance of the...
Not necessarily. All it takes is one RV or a deer hunter or some fisherman who find the mat clamps work really nicely for holding a salmon while cleaning it.
Get me the measurements. You probably have the previous "B" size. I know we've made those replacement panels for a Dixmor but I'd have to dig to see if we ever did one where the Cryptopay actually fit. I think the Tap+ may fit but not confident on the swiper.
Too many of those free vacs don't work very well. I've got a number of customers who saw an immediate drop in vac use when someone went free near them and they eventually saw the drop come back and usually an increase. Seems that if you're giving something away you're less inclined to care if it...
One other big risk: The person or entity you sell it too bleeds the cash, runs it into the ground, and you end up with the site back needing mega bucks in repairs/upgrades.
I agree without even seeing the equipment in the back room. The one picture from the self serve bay tripped a couple of alarms. 1) It looked like crap. New signage and cleaning the walls at the minimum. From the look of it I think anything short of covering them is going to lead to constant...
Either you are feeding the unit with air that has moisture in it or the presoak you are using is not compatible with Santoprene. I strongly recommend putting an air dryer on the compressor. You should reach out to your chemical supplier as to what they recommend. Used to be that you could use...
Definitely sounds like a system issue on their end. I got a call first thing this morning from a customer asking if I had heard anything. I'm sure they'll get it worked out.
Post some pictures of the site and equipment. The price is too high. It happens. Owner thinks the site is worth more than actual numbers show. You can only go be verifiable numbers which IMHO would only be 3 years of tax returns.
Don't assume the self serve equipment is worth saving. I've seen...
Exactly.
With the water quality(better said lack there of) you originally posted I wouldn't suggest a DIY solution either. There's a lot of components to properly treat that water. You're talking health and safety as well as damage that could be done to your plumbing if not done correctly.
