i see an issue with cars being trapped in line with no way out except thru the wash. i realize other car washes are set up this way, but it could get dangerous if something goes wrong and cars have to back out into the street.

maybe there are options you can remove? you're only $17k over, doesn't seem that bad to me. I really don't think you can compare a quote from four years ago to yours and expect it to be exact. A lot of things aren't the same price as they were four years ago.

i didn't use an architect; i used a civil engineer. contractor used engineering drawings to build wash, do site work, etc.

I think many commercial building contractors can handle a car wash. It's not really complicated. It's a big rectangular garage with a room in the middle for mechanicals. The site work and drainage for bays is specific to a car wash. I think the electrical is the hardest part. Just my opinion...

You might have better luck starting with an equipment distributor in your area. Find out who the major manufacturers distributors are and meet with them. They will likely have connections with builders.

I might still have one in my gold line that I'm not using. I'll check tomorrow.
