i really like my ivs vacs. they've been super reliable since new almost 20 years ago! occasional coin jams and replace a motor here and there and they just keep making money.
You'd probably get a better response if you started a new thread for this because it is a totally different topic than the original topic which was about a floor stand for a razor car wash
I have a stand on my razor package and I bought the stainless steel one. There was really no choice in my mind because The car wash environment is so harsh I wanted the best chance possible to have the stand last and look good for a long time.
disconnect the main hose from the pump going out to the bay for high-pressure. Reconnect a new Shorter length hose with a gun assembly that you can pull out the door and spray from your equipment room. Test the rinse that way and see if it's OK that will tell you if it's the hose going out to...
I have never done any service like that but I found this link; it looks like it has some good videos related to the 3535.

it's been a long time since I worried too much about any of these things in my business. Probably the most important thing on this list to me is the expenses of the business. I don't lose sleep over it though because as long as I feel like I am taking the appropriate action to keep expenses low...
i switched to a mars validator when i added cryptopay. another awesome upgrade. much better bill acceptance than the xe. yes i lost tokenote capabilities but i was ready to stop the tokenote madness anyway.
Washworld Razor. Installed by my awesome distributor, Autowash Maintenance out of Malden MA. The wash is Amazing. Big hit with customers. So fast and reliable compared to my old machine. getting the razor really reignited my passion and joy for the carwash business.
yes do tap and swipe.
i bought the kit and i believe it included everything you need ( assuming you already have cryptopay coordinator that saves and batches trsnsactions).
mine is on a goldline and it's been great over the past 3 1/2 years. it processes a cc transaction so quickly...
vac hoses are commonly 15' in my experience. that allows people to return the hose to the vacuum, making 2 or 3 loops. it's up to the customer to return the hose after they finish vacuuming. lots of lazy people just toss the hose on the ground and leave it for 'somebody else' to pick up. if...
my tri foam gets alot of use but i have had it for 20 years, so customers got to like it over time. it's got great show and scent. i do red white and blue and i cheat a little bit by using simoniz foam additive mixed with water for my white color. i use simoniz uvp for red and blue. i use...
customers were charged $4.90 and 2.90 on a vac purchase. 2 different vacs/ customers.
parameters are set to $2 min $5 max. went in and changed it to $2 max.
any clue why?
thank you!
did you check for the proper voltage at the solenoids when the wax is selected? Did you be sure to install the right type of replacement solenoid valves? On my set up, the valves are normally closed and when power is applied they open. It's easy to put the wrong valve in without realizing it...
I think it depends on a lot of things. Like how good is your wash? what are your competitors priced at?
i'm $5 start price for 5 minutes. i offer warm water year round. i have bug remover, soap, rinse, wax, tri foam polish, foam brush, air dry. i have cryptopay/ count up.
i focus on...
