Another tankless water heater replacing boiler thread

Five years ago so, 68 year old. I can't say for sure, but I believe it was original to the house which was built in 1950. I replaced it shortly after buying the house.

how to heat a small iba??

If you have attic space, you could mount a forced air unit there. Or a roof top unit.

Another tankless water heater replacing boiler thread

Definitely more than a water heater, the one in my house works so much better than the old original 1950 unit that was in there and costs a whole lot less to run.

These are my NTI wall mount boilers, I have a third in my house. The one in my house was installed about five years ago and has worked flawlessly at about a third the cost of my old one.

    Cryptotap Plus

Not having a chip reader makes no sense at all. Several times, I've had customers cards not work when they tap, they use the chip and it works fine.

    Bad News for us all!

And the media is in their pocket. Heard a reporter on the radio this morning say, "The Biden administration says the economy is growing but, there is a perception among some Americans that the economy is faltering and a feeling that prices have gone up." Apparently perception and feeling have...

City just told me I can't use salt in my softener. Options?

I don't see how the salt from a softener could be an issue compared to what else is being dumped in there.

    Spot Free Hookup

You'll need a second float switch for the new pump. The one you have turns on the RO when it needs to start refilling the tank, the new one should be set much lower to protect the new pump if something happens and you run out of water in the tank. Also, the one you have is sending 110 V to the...

    Free vaccumes down the road

Once a month maintenance won't work with the 1 1/2 hoses. I have to check mine at least daily, usually two or three times, to keep the smaller, longer hose from getting plugged.

    LPR + POS recommendation

I'd go RFID over license plate readers, or both for redundancy. People will figure out you're using a plate reader and start switching plates. Good RFID stickers will break when they're moved from one windshield to another.

I've never seen the tank get below half on mine.

How Many Quarters Is Too Many?
