Yeah, I've been doing some thinking about Combo Vacs. How about $2, $3, or $4 minimum charge with the card reader powering the selector switch's common? Card customers can then use the shampooer or vac for as long as they wish.

There are (2) RJ45 sockets on the NXT controller boards. Maybe the Cat5 cable connecting the controllers has been disconnected? Or, the cable is broken and needs replacement?

Siemens Logo? They are quite robust and reliable. Have you tried cycling power? P1 is hot. P2 is neutral. I'd disconnect P2 for 10-15 seconds.
